Dani is the founder and lead mental health therapist at Inner Healing Therapy. She created this safe space in July 2024 and is dedicated to serving the Wilmington community.

Originally from Upstate NY she attended SUNY Plattsburgh for her undergrad. After graduating, she move to Asheville, NC and worked at SUWS as a Wilderness Instructor. Later transitioned to work as a Mental Health Skills Builder in rural SW Virginia. While attending Radford University she became apart of a grant program that served in-need populations throughout Virginia. Collectively, Dani has worked 5 years in the community mental health space . While obtaining her licensing hours she served at Rappahannock Community Services Board as a Mental Health/Substance Use Therapist. Here she learned she wanted to focus on mental health and treating adults with trauma as her specialty.

Dani is passionate about holistic healing and taking a unique approach. She encourages her clients to get out of their comfort zone to change engrained patterns and core beliefs from childhood. She believes healing requires perseverance, faith, and strength to combat engrained patterns. She uses an empowered strength-based perspective to aid with aiding clients with healing trauma. Her approach and style is connection-based, holistic, eclectic, and trauma-focused. Approaches she frequently uses are EMDR, Inner Child (IFS), Psychoanalytic, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Based Interventions.
