EMDR Intensive Therapy
When you are ready to dive deeper and focus in on trauma healing
Are you ready to focus on your trauma recovery?
EMDR is an evidence-based treatment shown to reduce mental health symptoms. My focus is working with individuals with PTSD and Anxiety Disorders to aid with nervous system regulation, processing of traumatic experiences, and desensitizing triggers. I have seen the benefits first hand myself and with the clients I work with.
EMDR Intensive Therapy is unique from weekly therapy since it’s offered in 4 hours sessions within 2-4 days of treatment. I found this works well, but hours can be customized to your desired preference.
This treatment is geared for individuals ready to focus in on EMDR and found talk therapy ineffective

EMDR intensive therapy is not covered by insurance. Most insurance plans have specific guidelines regarding the frequency and duration of sessions, typically covering standard weekly appointments. However, EMDR intensives can involve several hours of therapy within a shorter time frame, which may not align with these guidelines. As a result, clients seeking this focused approach might need to compare payment options.

What do you recommend for those traveling?
If you are traveling I recommend having lodging accommodations on days you are processing. With EMDR you will experience a variety of symptoms after processing including: fatigue, triggers, insights, and dreams. With the 4 hour session format provided you may experience more fatigue than a typical 1 hour session. To get the most out this experience take the time to relax and treat this as a mental health retreat. Be sure to plan accordingly.
